About Langley Wood

Langley Wood House is the Dower House on the 3,000 acre Hamptworth Estate situated in the northern part of the New Forest National Park.

The house itself which dates back to 1750 is within the nationally important Langley Wood which is designated SSSI ancient woodland. You may step out of the Edwardian luxury of the house straight on to paths and marked walks within the wood.

From the Panelled Hall you can relax in the sumptuous Drawing room or the snug Library, both adorned with antique furniture and paintings.

A William IV dining table is the centrepiece in the elegant dining room with its feature fireplace carved by Moffet in 1926.

The Bedrooms are all en-suite and contain King Size beds as well as antique furniture and all of the welcoming touches expected at a house of this standing.

The Hamptworth Estate includes a Championship Golf course, falconry, farm shop, county sports opportunities and many regular events such as open air plays and country shows.
